Geely subsidiary, Farizon, may not have been here long – but it is expanding its offerings here at a pace, announcing on Monday a price cut of $8,500 across its SV electric van range.
Farizon has four electric light- to medium- sized commercial vehicles in Australia, the SV van is their middle sized variant offering around 1t to 1.2t payload capacity.
Launched here in early 2025, it was initially offered in 3 variants (SWB low-roof, LWB low-roof and LWB high-roof), all with an 83kWh LFP battery.
That range has now just been extended to include an extra-long wheelbase, high-roof version with a larger battery. The new version is called the SWLB and utilises a 106 kWh NMC battery.
The new SLWB is 505 mm longer than the existing LWB and has a cargo volume of 13 cubic metres. This is up from 11.22 in the LWB/high roof. With its 106 kWh battery, driving range is well up on the LWB high-roof version’s 319 km at up to 398 km (WLTP). Payload is down slightly on the LWB high-roof (1,075 kg versus 1,170 kg).
The SLWB retains the same tow rating as the other variants, at 2,000 kg.
Alongside the announcement of the SLWB came price reductions of up to $8,500 across the SV range.
