Chinese EV maker XPeng has entered the Australian market with their mid-size G6 SUV. XPeng vehicles are imported and sold through local distributor TrueEV, although XPeng are intending to take over operations in the future. The XPeng G6 is currently available as rear-wheel drive only, with the choice of either a standard or long range battery pack. A quicker all-wheel drive performance variant and refreshed rear-wheel drive versions are expected to arrive around the middle of 2026.
