The Subaru Solterra shares the same e-TNGA platform as the Toyota bZ4X SUV below. All Solterra variants include dual-motor all-wheel drive which makes sense given Subaru’s all-wheel drive focus throughout the rest of their internal combustion vehicle range.
Two Solterra variants are for sale in Australia with the same battery size, the Touring is differentiated by larger wheels and more premium interior features such as an upgraded sound system and upholstery, as well as V2L.
Subaru has released updated specifications with cheaper starting prices for 2026 model year Solterra. Updates include a slightly larger battery, more powerful motors and revised high voltage components that result in decent range improvements of over 100 km compared to the outgoing model.
