The Polestar 2 fastback was Polestar’s first vehicle for the Australian market and it comes in four different variants. Polestar 2 has received numerous updates with each new model year, most notably in 2024 when single motor versions changed from front to rear-wheel drive and efficiency improved dramatically across the range.
Subsequent updates mainly revolved around pricing and packaging, such as Pilot Pack now being included as standard. 2026 model year Polestar 2 includes an upgraded infotainment processor and a new Prime Pack featuring the panoramic sunroof, heat pump and electric tailgate. Standard range variants also receive a larger battery and bump in DC charging speed from 135 kW to 180 kW.
