MG has launched their premium electric vehicle brand in Australia known as IM, or Intelligence in Motion. IM is a joint venture between MG’s parent company SAIC Motor and two Chinese technology companies, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech and Alibaba Group. MG’s configurator for the IM5 is live, with the first deliveries now underway.
The IM5 sedan is available in three variants, all fitted with luxurious interiors and unique features such as four-wheel steering. The top of the range all-wheel drive performance version is also capable of 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.2 seconds.
