Geely has launched a new set of incentives to help it boost sales as part of “Black Friday offers” it’s delivering in Q4, including a $2,000 gift card and a Type 2 charging cable with every model of the EX5 it sells.

This offer is eligible to customers who purchase a new or demonstrator MY25 or MY26 Geely EX5 from a Geely Dealer between 1 November 2025 and 30 November 2025 and take delivery by 31st December 2025.

Geely entered Australia with the EX5 SUV back in March 2025, with starting prices of $40,990 for the entry-level Complete variant, while top-spec Inspire variant started at $44,990 before on-road costs.

The EX5 SUV have sold over 3,000 cars over the last 7 months, making it one of the most popular EVs in the market in 2025.

But as the competition in the affordable EV segments on the rise, the level of incentives for consumers to keep the sales momentum going are expected to remain high.

Multiple new models like the GAC Aion V, Leapmotor B10, Deepal S05 and BYD Atto 2 will also be entering the market, which will only mean great offers on quality EVs for drivers looking at making the switch.

The EX5 comes with a 60 kWh battery pack that can deliver 430 km of WLTP range. Charging this pack from 30-80% will take around 20 minutes, thanks to a 100 kW peak DC charging speed, as well as delivering 11 kW AC charging.

It also offers vehicle-to-load (V2L) discharge rate is up to 3.3 kW, which is well received by many owners who want to power devices off the car’s battery pack.

The company now has over 43 dealers across the country, almost doubling its dealership count since launching back in March.
