Xpeng, one of the recent EV brands in Australia, is now offering 5-year complimentary servicing as part of a special offer to new customers, which is valued at $2,064.Ā

On top of that, the brand is also bringing back a 10-year extended warranty offer, but this time offering it for $880 to customers, saving customers $4,100 over the recommended retail price.

The extended warranty and the 5-year free servicing offer have a combined value of over $6,100 for new customers. The company’s G6 is priced between $54,800 and $59,800 before on-road costs, depending on the variant.

The company has not shared its sales numbers since the launch of the G6.

On Xpeng’s Australian online configurator, those placing an order for a G6 are shown both offers as they configure the specs of their vehicle.

Under this extended warranty offer Xpeng will extend the standard warranty for $880 by offering a complimentary bonus 2-year battery warranty and 5 year vehicle warranty to total 10 years of each.Previously, Xpeng order holders who ordered the G6 before 31 October 2024 received a free home wall charger with installation.

That was through a partnership with the leading EV charging company, EVSE Australia.Ā

In November 2024, the company announced a free 10-year warranty and the first free service for customers who place an order before the 31 December 2024.

The G6 is offered in two variants, starting from $54,800 before on-road costs, while the long-range variant starts at $59,800 before on-road costs.

These prices include all metallic paints and 20-inch sports wheels, making it one of the better-equipped standard vehicles on the market.

At this starting price, it’s under Australia’s best-selling EV, the Tesla Model Y, making it an attractive alternative for those looking at a mid-sized SUV.

With competition in this segment having increased significantly in recent months, including the launch of premium products like the Zeekr 7X and IM 6 SUV in recent weeks, customers are shifting towards electric SUVs that offer great value and incentives to help get them across the line.

There are also more upcoming models in the mid-size SUV space such as the Nissan Ariya, Skoda Elroq and potentially a more affordable model from Tesla in Q4, which would also offer plenty of options to drivers looking to make the switch.

Finally, a newer 2025 G6 model, which we got to see up close at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, could also be not too far away from launching.Ā

That was also showcased in the popular right-hand-drive market of Thailand in recent weeks, which could provide a hint at what’s to follow in our market.

The latest servicing and warranty offer from Xpeng will help buyers sitting on the fence with purchasing a G6 and will help the brand get more traction in the coming months.

This offer on the G6 SUV ends on 31 October 2025 and is available to new customers.
