In October last year, Leapmotor, one of the latest EV brands to enter the Australian market, announced aggressive pricing on its C10 electric SUV.
Now, the brand is slashing thousands more off the asking price by giving new customers a $7,000 cashback incentive if they purchase a car before the end of September, 2025.
According to an email sent out by the brand, up to $7,000 of factory bonus is available on MY24 models, while MY25 models see $4,000 of factory bonus.
An example is provided on the website, which shows the pricing on a top-spec variant: That’s an MY24 C10 BEV Design at $51,500 Driveaway + additional $7,000 factory bonus!”.
This would mean a $44,500 driveaway for a feature-packed electric family SUV, which includes:
The Leapmotor C10 pricing was announced in Q4 2025, starting with the entry-level Style variant which was priced from $45,888 before on-roads. The lineup went up to $49,888 for the more premium Design variant.
Given the size of the C10 which sits at 4.74 metres in length, it’ll brings more space at a price usually reserved for smaller electric SUVs like the BYD Atto 3.
Both variants will be powered by a single 160 kW rear-mounted motor that delivers up to 320 Nm of torque, which has been plenty in our road tests.
On the battery front, both variants have the same 69.9 kWh battery which can deliver up to 420 km of WLTP range.
The battery pack will be able to be charged from 30-80% in 30 minutes and can be fast-charged at a rate of up to 84 kW. It also features vehicle-to-load (V2L) capabilities, ideal for powering other electrical items when needed.
The C10 comes in 5 colours including unique offerings such as the Jade Green not seen in too many other EVs on the market.
Warranty-wise, the C10 will come with a 7-year 160,000km coverage as well as a 8-year 160,000km warranty on the battery pack.
Over the last few years, Leapmotor has entered into an international joint venture with global car giant Stellantis, which is bringing the brand to international markets in Europe and Australia as well.
In recent weeks, report of the more affordable B10 model coming to Australia have also surfaced, providing insights into the brand’s growing EV lineup in Australia.
Other brands are also rolling out price cuts with reports in the last fortnight that Tesla has put multiple incentives in place to move cars in Q3.
