Hyundai’s luxury division Genesis has updated the Electrified GV70 in Australia with a “plethora” of advanced safety, comfort and convenience technologies, an expanded driving range, and a $7,000 price hike.

The 2025 Electrified GV70 is only offered in the Signature Performance grade, boasting a high-density 84kWh battery delivering a driving range of 462 kilometres (WLTP) from a dual-motor powertrain that puts out 320kW of maximum power and 700Nm of torque (split evenly between front and rear engine).

The battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in as little as 19 minutes when using a 350kW DC fast charger and incorporates a temperature control system to heat and cool the battery as required so as to ensure optimal operating temperature.

Inside, a 27-inch OLED integrated multimedia display and instrument cluster features wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, while the driver benefits from a head-up display. The latest generation of Genesis Connected Services is offered on a complimentary 5-year subscription, providing a range of safety, security, and convenience features available from within the vehicle and via a compatible smartphone. Over the Air update capability also ensures that software and firmware updates for key systems can be performed remotely, eliminating the need to visit a service centre.

A 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system is also included as standard alongside a UV-C Sanitising Console, an Air Aroma diffuser, and a convenient steering wheel shortcut button for the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system.

Meanwhile, the safety and driver assistance features have been expanded and now include the second-generation Highway Driving Assist 2, Forward Collision Avoidance-Assist 2, Lane Following Assist 2, and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 systems.

Additional features include crosswind stabilisation, which actively controls lane departures caused by strong crosswinds, an intelligent front-lighting system that automatically adjusts the front high-beam pattern to reduce glare for other road users, and enhanced riding comfort thanks to additional hydro bushings in the rear suspension working to reduce vibrations.

“We are delighted to introduce the comprehensively upgraded and enhanced 2025 Electrified GV70, which treats customers to an array of new technology, and a richly refined all-electric luxury SUV experience,” Head of Genesis Motors Australia, Justin Douglass said.

Now available at Genesis retail outlets around the country, the 2025 Electrified GV70 costs from $132,800 (MLP).
