The 200,000 vehicle delivery milestone comes less than 3 months into 2025. As of the end of 2024, the company had already exceeded production targets by delivering 135,000 cars in just over 9 months.
An additional 65,000 cars have been delivered in just over two and a half months, setting the stage for breaking the 300,000 production target for 2025 it set in the beginning of this year.
Part of the 2025ās production target will include the companyās upcoming highly anticipated electric SUV model.
The companyās new SUV model, YU7, was announced by Jun himself on 10th December.

The YU7 is expected to have first customer deliveries by June or July this year as the brand ramps up its production capabilities with the opening of multiple new manufacturing facilities.
Last month, Jun himself was one of the drivers of a convoy of YU7 vehicles that travelled 1,310 km along highways and other roads, testing the range of the EVs and its autonomous driving technology.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi, unveiled the most powerful version of its SU7, the ultra, which has already beaten multiple track laptimes in China. Itās now headed to the iconic Nürburgring track in Germany to have another crack at setting a lap record.
Previously, Xiaomi surprised everyone after setting a track record with a prototype version of the Ultra last year but given the production model is now available, itās revisiting the track to see if itās capable of dethroning Porscheās EV lap record of 7 minutes and 7 seconds.
