Geely, one of the latest brands to hit the Australian market has announced pricing of its first electric SUV model, the EX5, at the brand’s Australia and New Zealand launch in Sydney on Tuesday night.
Pricing on the EX5 will officially start at $40,990 for the entry-level Complete variant, while the top-trim Inspire variant comes in at $44,990 before on-roads. These prices are lower thanĀ what was previously expected.

Along with the pricing, Geely also announced another launch offer for early customers. Those who order before 30 April will receive the following:Ā
- One-year complimentary public chargingĀ
- Complimentary 7kW home charger (excluding installation)Ā
- 3.88% comparison rate finance
- Three years of complimentary scheduled servicingĀ
- Upgrade to premium paintĀ
On the warranty and servicing front, Geely will be offering a 7-year, unlimited-kilometre standard warranty along with an 8-year, unlimited-kilometre high-voltage battery warranty.
There will also be a 7-year Assured Service pricing, similar to capped price servicing offered by other brands.
Geely will also offer 7 years of complimentary roadside assistance when serviced within the Geely dealer network.
Each car will also be equipped with 2 years of complimentary car connectivity as well as the availability of pre-paid service plans that owners can purchase.

On top of the pricing and EX5 inclusions, Geely also unveiled its market growth plans, with 20 dealers on board for the brand before expanding it to 100 dealers in the coming years.
That growth in the dealership network will make Geelyās network one of the most extensive and on par with many of the top 10 car brands in the country.
Speaking of dealerships, the new EX5 will be available in dealers for test drives, and the network is ready to take orders and test-drive vehicles starting today (Wednesday).
