Xpeng, one of the more recent EV brands in Australia, is once again offering a 10-year complimentary warranty as part of a special offer to new customers for a limited time, with the offer valued at $4,980.Ā
The new limited-time warranty is up from the standard 5-year car warranty and 8-year battery warranty. and will be offered to customers who order between 1 February 2025 and 30 June 2025.
In an email sent to its subscribers, the brandās distributor True EV said: āPlace an order on the Xpeng G6 between February 1 (yes! weāve backdated it) and June 30, 2025, and youāll receive this incredible offer valued at up to $4,980 (incl. GST).ā
This 10-year warranty offer is broken down into two components, which includes:Ā
- A 10-year manufacturerās warranty on Key Parts (Battery) – valued at $1,990
- A 10-year manufacturerās warranty on the whole vehicle – valued at $2,990
According to the same email, lead time on some variants of the G6 ranges between 12-16 weeks, which highlights good demand for the mid-sized electric SUV.

The G6 is offered in two variants, starting from $54,800 before on-road costs while the long-range variant is priced from $59,800 before on-road costs.
These prices include metallic paints and 20-inch sports wheels, making it one of the most well-equipped standard vehicles on the market.
BYDās recent Sealion 7 launch is expected to compete with the G6 with many of the paint inclusions, comping with a price tag of $1,500 or more.
The G6ās starting price brings it under Australiaās best-selling EV, the Tesla Model Y, making it an attractive alternative for those looking at a mid-sized family SUV.
In recent months, more vehicles in this segment have launched and a few more are waiting in the stables for a launch. These include Deepal S07, Leapmotor C10, Geely EX5 and more.
Xpeng also plans to grow its dealership network significantly in the coming months with plans to roll out 20 dealerships in 2025, increasing it to 30 further down the track.Ā
One of these will include a premium experience store at an iconic location in Sydney as it gears up to increase its footprint in Australia.
The latest 10-year warranty offered by Xpeng will help buyers with purchasing a G6 by giving them peace of mind with the relatively new brand in the market. Thatās in an effort to boost demand with growing competition and increase sales in the coming months.
