Zeekr, one of the newest premium EV brands in Australia, have launched the configurator of its Australian-bound electric SUV in Europe, hinting at the fastest charging EV when it lands in Australia.
Zeekr’s upcoming large 7X configurator went online in Europe with the base model having 10-80% fast charging time of just 13 minutes.
These speeds comes in even the base Premium RWD model, which has a Zeekr-engineered 75 kWh battery pack, and a starting price price of €52,990.
In the line-up there’s also the Long Range RWD which is priced from €55,990, meanwhile the top-spec Performance AWD comes in at €62,990.
The Performance AWD does pack a punch with acceleration of 0-100 km/h happening in just 3.8 seconds. This is down from 6 seconds in the base model.
Range-wise, the base model offers 480 km of WLTP range on a single charge while the Long Range RWD bumps that to 615 km.
On the top-spec Performance AWD variant, it drops back to 543 km.

Another key feature is 2-tonne of braked towing across the range, which certainly eclipses the specs of BYD Sealion 7 that were spotted in local regulatory documentation of that car.
Just the headline specs of the Zeekr 7X in Europe provide a good glimpse of what’s to come to Australia in the second half of 2025.
Back in September, Zeekr launched the 7X, to the world at the Chengdu Auto Show 2024 in China.
Since then, over 30,000 units have been delivered to customers in China, highlighting the demand for this SUV.
Th 7X will be 4,825 mm in length, making it longer than the Tesla Model Y.
Having seen and experienced the Zeekr 7X in China earlier this month, the new 7X will set a benchmark in the premium family electric SUV space, when it finally lands in Australia in 2025.
In the meantime though, Zeekr has the Zeekr X & 009 models available locally for interested drivers to test drive in various parts of the country, including over in WA after the brand launched its showroom there last week as well.
The Zeekr 7X is the most anticipated car from the brand in many markets. With it heading to Europe and online configurator going online, it sets the path for the launch of the model in Australia too.
We can’t wait for that as it will push the boundary on charging speeds and infrastructure when it does happen.
