A robotaxi operated by American self-driving car company Waymo has been caught on camera stuck in an endless roundabout loop.

In a video that went immediately viral, a passerby caught footage of the Waymo robotaxi doing loop after loop of a roundabout.

It appears there were no passengers onboard for what would have been a nauseating ride, and some reports suggest that the car did 37 loops of the roundabout before being saved from its nightmarish loop by Waymo engineers.

A Waymo spokesperson confirmed to TechCrunch that there were no passengers onboard and that it had already addressed the issue by deploying a software update to its fleet of robotaxis.
