BP Pulse, the EV charging operator managed by petrol giant bp, says it has installed its first charging sites in Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory, as well as two new charging hubs in Victoria, each with 8 charging points.
The new EV charging points are located at existing BP locations and vary according to site. The first BP Pulse EV charging location in Tasmania can be found in the suburb of Moonah, just north of Hobart and boasts 4 ultra-fast charging bays with speeds up to 150kW.
Conversely, the new BP Pulse charging location in Canberra, located just down from Manuka Oval in the suburb of Kingston, features only two DC charging bays with speeds up to 50kW.
