Upcoming Chinese-based electric vehicle brand Zeekr has quietly launched its Australian website this week, revealing details of the forthcoming model lineup and key specifications.
The new website highlights two models that will soon be available in Australia, including the Zeekr X, a compact electric SUV, and the Zeekr 009, a luxurious electric multipurpose vehicle (MPV).
Looking at the Zeekr X page, it shows some key specs, including those on power and charging across the two variants. Some highlights of specs and features of this model include:
- Performance of 0-100 km/h in 3.8 sec (AWD)

There are also double-edged daytime running lights which are formed with 56 independently controlled LEDs.
According to the brand, this enables the upper lights to integrate daytime running lights, vehicle positioning lights, and turn indicators into one system.
For the first time, the colours of the Zeekr X have also been shared locally. Five colours are on offer which include:Ā
- Crystal White
- Palace Beige
- Mist Grey

The Zeekr X is a larger car than the recently launched Volvo EX30 and will likely compete in the same premium compact electric SUV market.Ā
In the approved vehicles list, we also learnt that the Zeekr X will be 13 mm higher than the Volvo EX30 which shares a similar platform to the Zeekr X.
On top of that, variants of the Zeekr X could have a braked towing capacity of 1600 kg which the car is now approved for.
On the Zeekr 009 MPV page, a video showcasing the model is shown including the drop-down screen for rear passengers. Specifications of this electric MPV are not shared on the page just yet and are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The new website comes less than a week after the approval of its first vehicle in the local market, the Zeekr X were spotted in the approved vehicles list.
Full specifications and pricing of both models are likely to be available closer to the launch date. Zeekr X will be the first model on the market in Q3 followed by Zeekr 009.
