Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar will expand its presence into seven new markets across Asia, Europe, and Latin America in 2025 asp art of a wider effort to expand its commercial footprint and retail operations.
As Polestar’s model lineup expands, with the promise two new SUVs in the future, the company is expanding its retail footprint.
The company, jointly owned by Volvo Cars and its parent company Geely, is shifting to a non-genuine agency sales model across Europe which will still allow customers to configure and order their Polestar online but will also see an expanding network of Polestar Spaces and service locations, making it easier for more people to buy and own a Polestar.
Polestar is also continuing its geographic expansion and plans to enter seven new markets during 2025, with launches planned for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Thailand, and Brazil via local distribution partnerships.
“Expanding our retail operations with new and existing partners will enable us to reach more customers,” said Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO.
“Through these partnerships and expansion, we will capitalise on our strong brand and growing model line-up.”
All three Polestar models will be available in Australia – including multiple variants of the Polestar 2, 3, and 4, with delivery available anywhere from July for the Polestar 2 electric performance fastback or the last quarter for the Polestar 3 and 4 SUVs..
In addition to the three Polestar models already available, the company has promised that the electric four-door GT Polestar 5 and the Polestar 6 electric roadster will be coming soon.
