South Korean automaker Kia has promised to launch its hugely anticipated entry-level EV4 electric sedan in early 2025, but a keen-eyed fan has caught a glimpse of the EV4 on the road, providing a better look at the car’s design.
Kia unveiled the EV4 in late 2023 as part of three new electric vehicles the company plans to release as part of a more affordable lineup of EVs.
Billed as “an entirely new type of EV sedan that stands as a symbol of innovation”, the EV4 takes its queue from sedans and SUVs both, and its sleek but geometric design is sure to be an eye catcher.
And given that Kia opened orders for the EV3 compact SUV, another affordable EV unveiled alongside the EV4, in South Korea earlier this month with a starting price of KRW42.08 million, or around $A45,500, hopes are high that the EV4 could actually start to push down the price of EVs in Australia.
While we were limited to only a few images of the EV4 in late 2023, YouTube channel Shorts Car has been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the EV4 on the road. Although the car is fitted with camouflaging covers, it nevertheless provides a glimpse of what the EV4 will look like when it launches next year.
