A Tesla Model 3 rally car that has featured in the Targa Cup in WA and other Perth to Sydney rally events, has been put to auction with the top bid coming in this week at $30,250.
This white 2019 Tesla Model 3 Performance sedan was auctioned with 35,482 km on the odometer.
According to the listing, all seats have been stripped out and refitted with racing bucket seats. Along with that, there is a fully compliant roll cage that comes with the car.

Many parts of the car have also been left the way they were from the factory, such as the front dashboard, screen, steering wheel and armrest.
An additional screen behind the steering wheel is also seen which displays other vital vehicle information for the driver while rallying or on the track.
The frunk still is fully useable with no additional equipment found there, really highlighting the stock factory setup this car had while racing.
In the boot, there is also a standard Tesla universal mobile connector which is used when on the go but is probably not the most efficient way to charge a race car.
For a race vehicle, this has been a good mix of modifications and standard factory equipment.
From the factory, the car had a dual-motor powertrain with 335 kW of power which would help the car propel from 0-100 km/h in under 3.5 seconds.
That’s using the standard 20-inch wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres which it rolled off the factory floor with.
This powertrain was also paired with a 78 kWh battery pack which can be charged with 11 kW AC charging or 250 kW DC charging at the right charger.
