Renault has announced pricing and specifications of its upcoming 2024 Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric delivery van which is due to arrive in Australia the coming months.
The new Kangoo will be available in two variants. This includes a short and long wheelbase version. Ā The pricing of the short-wheelbase variant is set at $61,990 before any on-road costs. The long wheelbase variant then follows for an additional $2,000, starting at $63,990 before any on-road costs.
Powering the two variants will be a 90 kW motor that delivers up to 245 Nm of torque.
Both variants will have up to 285 km of WLTP range from a 45 kWh battery pack. This can be fast-charged at speeds of up to 80 kW. According to Renault, the battery pack in the Kangoo will take 1 hour and 25 minutes to charge from 0-100%.Ā
AC charging at 22 kW is also on offer which is ideal for charging at depots or at public level 2 charging stations.
Moving onto the inside, it offers three seats and 40 litres of storage space in the front cabin. There is also an 8-inch infotainment screen and many other features. Some of the key features of the new electric van include:

The Renault Kangoo was first launched in Europe in 2011 and has had more than 200 customers in Australia which includes local councils and other organisations looking at reducing transport emissions while servicing their customers by providing zero-emission deliveries.
The Kangoo E-Tech will be built in Renaultās factory in Maubeuge, which is located in Hauts-de-France. This factory has previously manufactured Kangoo vehicles for customers around the world.
The new Kangoo E-Tech comes with a 5-year/100,000 km warranty and an 8-year/160,000km battery warranty. It also includes includes 5-years of roadside assistance.
It will be offered in six colours with white and grey being free of charge while the other four metallic paints come at an additional cost of $800.
The Renault Kangoo E-Tech will be launching with a short wheelbase in February 2024. Meanwhile, a long-wheelbase variant will be arriving later in 2024.
