To be eligible, customers of the used Tesla vehicle need to place an order and take delivery of the car by the end of the Ā September quarter.
Itās quite early in the quarter to offer incentives to move inventory, giving buyers over seven weeks to take advantage of this offer.
The offer is limited to three used stocked models including:
- Ā Ā Ā Model 3
- Ā Ā Ā Model S
- Ā Ā Ā Model X
The free supercharging incentive is paired to a Tesla account of the purchaser of one of these used models and can not be transferred to another owner if the car is sold in the coming months.
These 5,000 km of supercharging also come with an expiry date for owners who decide to take advantage of it. The km incentive comes with a shelf life of 12 months after the delivery of this used vehicle.
Other exclusions include the purchase of any new or used vehicle, purchase via a business fleet or the use of a vehicle for commercial purposes (e.g. rideshare or rental service operations).
The cash value of the offer is unknown but roughly equates to eleven full supercharge sessions. If 50 kWh is used for every session and each session costs $30 (at 60 cents/kWh), then the value of 5,000 km (or 11 supercharging sessions) is between $330 – $350.
The latest offer comes on the back of new referral incentives for new Tesla customers if they are referred by an existing Tesla owner.

Itās been some time since incentives on used EVs have been offered by Australiaās best-selling EV brand which highlights the increased inventory levels of used EVs.
The new 5,000 km supercharging incentive shows the number of levers Tesla can pull to create demand without further lowering the price of their stocked inventory.
