Tesla has started to offer three months of free unlimited supercharging on certain models in Australia.Ā
Over the weekend Tesla sent out an email outlining the offer which is limited to the Model 3 and Model Y Performance variants.Ā
To redeem this offer, orders on newly stocked inventory are to be placed and taken delivery of by June 30 this year.
This offer comes on top of already discounted Performance models, with pricing starting for a white Model 3 listed at $83,060 before on-roads.

In comparison, the Model 3 Performance at Teslaās local design studio starts at $87,300 before on-roads with an estimated delivery between June and August this year.Ā
Similarly, a stocked Model Y Performance SUV is listed at $91,990 before on-roads. Thatās down from $95,300 on the design studio.
The Model 3 and Model Y Performance variants come with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system along with quicker acceleration when compared with the Long Range dual-motor variants.
For the Model 3 Performance, it can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds meanwhile the Model Y Performance can do the same run in 3.7 seconds.

The top speed is also increased to 261 km/h for the Model 3 and 250 km/h for the Model Y Performance.
This Acceleration and the top speed does reduce the range of the vehicles from their slower accelerating Long Range variants.
Teslaās Model 3 Performance can have a WLTP range of 547 km while Model Y in the same variant has up to 514 km of range on a single full charge.
Given both variants use Nickel-based battery packs with higher energy density, itās recommended to charge them up to 80% for daily use.
The offer for unlimited supercharging on these stocked vehicles is limited to a period of three months. Interested buyers can check the inventory on Teslaās Australian website.
