Earlier this week, we reported that 10 ships have been sent to Australia in just the last two months. It is already having an impact on available stock ofĀ Model 3 and Model Y EVs in many states and territories.
The Driven has checked this inventory in various parts of Australia and various 2022 and 2023 models of both the Model 3 and Model Y are available for immediate delivery
Examples in Victoria included brand new Model 3 RWD variants for under $64,000 before on-roads.

With on-roads, these cars will be around $68,000 before the $3,000 rebate is applied in the state for most customers to bring the price back down to around $65,000.
Similarly for Model Y, stock is available in various states including in Western Australia.Ā
Single-motor variants of the worldās best-selling car in Q1 2023 can be found in Teslaās inventory.

Examples spotted by The Driven included Model Yās in black, grey and red colours.
For those looking at dual-motor options, many Performance variants of the Model Y are also in stock with pretty much every colour Tesla offers.
There are also reports by Tesla ship tracking expert, VedaPrime, that there are potentially hundreds more Teslas on the way in the 11th ship thatās on its way to Perth.
This ship is also likely to include some of the first Perth-bound dual-motor Tesla Model Y Long Range vehicles since the new variant was first launched in April.
On the East Coast, some of these deliveries have already begun which is a good sign of whatās to come for those looking at the stability of an all-wheel-drive powertrain on an electric family SUV.
