Tesla revamps website and highlights road trips to help Model 3 buyers

Tesla has revamped its Australian website for the first time in several years. It now appears to have various new sections that showcase the best-selling EV’s features.

These new additions range from the Model homepage to a trip showcase and an updated specs section.

The homepage now showcases a Tesla Model 3 Performance driving with mountains and a lake in the background.

Two buttons are presented to the visitors of the Model 3 page. The first is the “Order Now” button that leads to the Tesla online design studio to configure a Model 3. 

The second button is for those interested in experiencing the Model 3 and takes the visitor to a test drive booking page.

There is also an updated Tesla trip showcase that shows the kind of road trips possible in a Tesla. A cool animation shows the trip on a map to the destination. 

The map also displays the distance of the trip to give buyers an idea of where they can take their EV without worrying too much about the range.

Another update is made to the way the specifications of the models are presented. The new layout of the Tesla Model 3 specifications section covers:

• Drivetrain
• Vehicle Dimensions
• Charging Speeds
• Vehicle and Drivetrain Warranties

This is a much cleaner look and makes it easier for buyers to see all the key specifications in one place. 

There is also a toggle to switch between the single and dual-motor variants and the specifications change accordingly. 

Surprisingly, the change so far is to the Tesla Model 3 model page in Australia while the Model Y page has not received the revamped treatment just yet.

Overall, the new update shows more features of the best-seller in the market with an aim to help more people to make the switch to a Tesla EV sooner.
