The Tesla Cybertruck is one of the most unique vehicles ever built. They have been running around in “alpha” build versions for months around California and Texas according to several spottings.
Now, Elon Musk has indicated that first customer deliveries are likely to be at the end of Q3 this year.
At Tesla’s Q1 2023 earnings call earlier today, an investor asked for an update on the specs and pricing for the Cybertruck and any new features to production.
Elon Musk responded: “Well I think we will save that for the Cybetruck handover which will hopefully be at the end of Q3 this year”
He went on to say how unique this Tesla product is:
“One thing I can confidently say is that it is an incredible product, it’s a hall of famer, I think. And a product like this only comes along once, once in a long while. People will not be disappointed in it at all, It’s amazing”
Earlier, Musk said demand for Tesla Cybertruck was strong and that like any ramp-up to volume production, it will take some time to take the kinks out of the manufacturing process.
This is one of the first times that the Tesla team has publicly spoken about how the production line setup is going which is a positive sign of things to come.

More recently, new features were spotted being tested like the Cybetruck’s massive wiper close to Tesla’s Texas manufacturing plant where the Cybertruck will be produced.
This is exciting news for hundreds of thousands of order holders worldwide as we will be seeing more Alpha versions being tested on the roads in the coming months before the actual first delivery event.
