Tesla hasĀ showcased a few of its current and upcoming vehicles, including the highly anticipated Cybertruck, after celebrating the return of its engineering division to its original California headquarters.
This time though, the all-electric truck was spotted with its suspension completely raised which gave those standing by an idea of its offroad capabilities. To top that off, it was seen taken for a short offroad drive by climbing a little hill at the new HQ.Ā
This was captured on video by the Youtuber who runs the Whatās Inside channel, and shared on Twitter:

In the video, the Cybertruck is seen to be climbing the grassy hill to join the rest of Teslaās product lineup at Teslaās new engineering HQ.Ā
Tesla employees can also be seen around the upcoming ute where the driver is being guided by them to get up the hill.
From the video, it seems that the Cybertruck is certainly capable of climbing more than little hills but is still being guided by Tesla employees as it might be a prototype vehicle.Ā
Even a wooden ramp was seen being lifted by one of the employees after the Cybertruck made it to the top of the hill as posted by The Kilowatts on Twitter.

After reaching the peak of the hill, the Cybertruck is joined by three multi-coat red Tesla models. The Tesla Model S Plaid, the Tesla Model 3 Performance and the Tesla Model Y Performance.
In the video, a Tesla Semi can also be seen in the background with a trailer on it. The first of the Tesla Semi customer deliveries occurred just before Christmas and now there are dozens running around the US.
Teslaās Cybertruck has been a long time coming. There happen to be more sightings in recent months including those with new triangular mirrors and one prototype even being driven by Elon Musk in recent weeks.
An even more recent sighting in California showed a huge single windscreen wiper that may not make it to the final production Cybertruck.
11 Jan 2023 Giga Texas! Fog cleared and we get to see a lot of activity, including even more IDRA Giga Press deliveries … in this case, the largest deliveries so far! Here are a few images after the fog cleared, but check out my YouTube video for more later today! pic.twitter.com/UNiT4qW1HZ

With recent drone flyovers of Teslaās GigsTexas factory by Joe Tegtmeyer on Twitter showcasing large Cybertruck body casting machines arriving last month, production and deliveries seem only months away.
When the Tesla Cybertruck was announced a few years back, three variants were revealed. This included a single-motor, dual-motor and tri-motor powertrain. A quad-motor version with a “crab mode” was later confirmed by Elon Musk.
Although Cybertruck might be years from reaching Australian customers, itās great to see it in the wild and shows that EVs that can seriously tow, are only around the corner.
