Everrati debuts flagship electrified GT40 at Concours of Elegance

An award-winning and all-electric Ford GT40 has gone on show at a prestigious car show in London, showcasing its state-of-the-art EV powertrain.

It has been converted by Everrati, the British specialists in electrifying iconic automobiles.

The flagship electric supercar was created in collaboration with Superformance, and revives Ford’s GT40 endurance racing car that broke Ferrari’s stranglehold on the 24 Hours of Le Mans race back in the 1960s, making it an instant icon in the automotive world.

The planned electrification of the iconic Ford GT40 was first announced in July 2021 when Everrati and Superformance partnered to create modern electrified versions of old classics. Everrati and Superformance late last week debuted their electrified version of the GT40 at the prestigious Concours of Elegance held at Hampton Court Palace, London.

Boasting a state-of-the-art EV powertrain and a 62.5kWh battery producing 800-horsepower and 800Nm of torque, Everrati’s GT40 is capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in well under four seconds and reaching top speeds of 200km/h.

A leather interior was developed in partnership with Bridge of Weir Leather, a global leader in the sustainable and responsible production of leather, and used the brand’s unique lightweight leather for extra weight saving, while also being the world’s lower carbon-intense leather.

The Everrati GT40 is also the world’s only GT40 EV listed in the official Shelby Registry, which catalogues authentic Shelby vehicles and which Everrati was able to attain through what they describe as “exacting engineering expertise”.

At Everrati’s stand at Concours of Elegance, the company also showed off its first electrified widebody Porsche 911 (964) Cabriolet model for the first time.

“Each is an embodiment of the OEM-level technology, expertise and attention to detail found in each of our future-proofed icons. As we continue to expand both our global footprint and product portfolio, the GT40 is at the apex of our performance offering.”

Everrati also showed off its Land Rover Series IIA, which boasts a 60kWh battery pack and a power output of 150-horsepower and 300Nm of torque, providing a range of up to 240 kilometres.
