Australia is not able to boast much about its take-up of electric vehicles, but it does have some innovative companies achieving significant break-throughs in the sector.
One of those is Redfern, Sydney-based Fonzarelli, a manufacturer of electric scooters (the name is based around the “Fonz” from Happy Days) that is now looking to upgrade to full electric motor bikes.
The company was founded and is run Michelle Nazzari, who took inspiration from her father’s work in making electric buses and decided to apply this to one of her passions, riding motorbikes.
