The Optiq is based on GM’s versatile Ultium electric vehicle platform and aims to compete with luxury SUVs from brands such as Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
It serves as the entry-level gateway to Cadillac’s all-electric portfolio, designed with a more compact footprint, sharper maneuverability, and a lower starting price than its bigger siblings.
A single dual-motor Sport variant is currently available in Australia, featuring an all-wheel drive powertrain and a feature-packed luxury interior. A much quicker Optiq-V variant is due to join the lineup, offering Cadillac’s blend of luxury and performance.
