The MG ZS EV was Australia’s cheapest new fully electric vehicle on more than one occasion, and it remains one of the most affordable second-hand electric SUVs. The ZS EV was no longer sold after the middle of 2025, as MG replaced it with the MGS5. Some have criticised the ZS EV for poor driving dynamics due to being built on a shared platform with combustion versions of the ZS, so a test drive is recommended if considering one.
