Korean marque KGM , formerly SsangYong, launched their Musso EV ute in Australia during December 2025 with attractive driveaway pricing. The Musso EV comes in two variants sharing the same BYD sourced LFP battery pack, with the option of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
As the first reasonably affordable fully electric ute to arrive following the uninspiring LDV eT60, the Musso EV offers similar payloads to its petrol or diesel counterparts, albeit with less towing capacity of 1,800 kg.
