Hyundai ‘s smallest and most affordable EV is called Inster, starting from below $40,000. The Inster is surprisingly roomy inside for a car measuring only 3.8 m long, with sliding rear seats to optimise for boot space or rear passenger space. All three variants are front-wheel drive and utilise NMC battery chemistry.
The Inster Cross variant is only available with the extended range battery pack, and provides the same 360 km range with the sunroof or less than 300 km if fitted with the optional roof basket. The Inster Cross also has the ability to fold all four seats completely flat.
