Geely has a new sales incentive on its upgraded EX5 Extended Range model, offering 1.88% comparison rate finance over 36 months and a free home charger on eligible vehicles.
The move follows cashback and finance offers of $2,500 from earlier this year to help maintain sales momentum for its new Extended Range model, which delivers up to 475 km of WLTP range, up from 430 km MY25 EX5 previously.
The offer applies to new in-stock EX5 vehicles purchased before 31 July 2026. Cars purchased under this incentive will also come with a 7 kW single-phase home charger, but installation won’t be included.
Geely launched the brand in March 2025 with the EX5 electric SUV, Since then, it has sold over 5,000 cars, making it one of the most popular EVs on the market.
In 2025, this model also ranked among the top 5 best-selling EVs in the market. See The Driven’s data here for Australian EV sales by month in 2025, broken down by model and by brand.
The EX5 is a very well-equipped SUV in our market that delivers a WLTP range of 475 km, thanks to the recently upgraded, larger 68 kWh Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LFP) battery pack.
Charging the car from 30-80% will take around 20 minutes at 100 kW peak DC charging speeds, although we have seen higher speeds on local fast chargers.
11 kW AC charging is also available for those with a three-phase power source, and, on top of that, vehicle-to-load (V2L) is available/
In December 2025, the company announced it would introduce a small electric hatch called the EX2. This model has been China’s best-selling car since 2025, with over 460,000 sales there.
At Auto China 2026 in Beijing in April, the company also unveiled what it calls China’s first purpose-built Robotaxi, highlighting the path its taking moving forward.
More recently, the company has been teasing its upcoming EX2 affordable hatchback which has been on a roadshow around the country, ahead of its local launch this quarter.
Locally, Geely’s most popular model has been the EX5 SUV, with total sales now exceeding 8,500 since its launch in Q1 last year.
The latest round of incentives will get many more people behind the wheel of their first EV in the coming months after the brand has sold
