Geely, a brand that launched in Australia early in 2025, has seen major growth, starting with the Geely EX5 electric SUV and increased popularity with the recently launched EX2 electric hatch.

Now, the company has shared that it’s grown its dealer network to 100 dealers, opening its milestone dealership in Mandurah, Western Australia.

ā€œWe are extremely proud to celebrate the opening of our 100th Australian dealership – a significant milestone for Geely, and a testament to the strength of our growing network,” Geely Auto Australia’s Managing Director Alex Gu said:

“Reaching 100 dealerships is a reflection of the incredible momentum behind the brand, and our shared ambitions to grow our presence locally.ā€

At the time of its launch in March 2025, the company had 22 dealers; by the end of the year, the network had doubled and established a presence in every state and territory.Ā

According to the brand, Geely is now focusing on expanding its network to regional and rural Australia, to allow more buyers to have access to Geely’s EVs a lot closer to home.

Geely has sold more than 15,000 of its EX5 electric SUVs, making it one of the most popular EVs on the market, according to The Driven’s monthly data.

The EX5 is quite well-equipped and packs a WLTP range of 475 km, thanks to a large 68 kWh Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LFP) battery pack.

That also makes this car quite efficient when compared to some other models in the mid-size SUV segment.

Charging the EX5 from 30-80% will take around 20 minutes at 100 kW peak DC charging speeds and 11 kW AC charging is also standard. It also offers three-phase power and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability.

In December 2025, the company announced it would introduce a small electric hatch called the EX2. It was then officially launched a few months ago and has scored almost 3,000 in the first three months.

Last week, we reported that Geely introduced a new sales incentive on its EX5 and EX2 electric models, offering 0.09% comparison-rate finance over 36 months on eligible vehicles. The move follows cashback and finance offers from earlier this year on the EX5 to help maintain sales momentum for its SUV model.Ā

This offer also includes the new EX2 hatch, hoping that it will help the brand deliver solid sales in the months to come.
