Swedish electric carmaker Polestar has confirmed updated pricing for the 2027 Polestar 4 coupé, aligning its price with the recently launched Polestar 4 electric SUV.
Effective immediately, both the Polestar 4 coupé and SUV are now priced from $73,900 for the rear-motor variant, and $81,750 for the dual-motor variants. This equates to a $4,600 reduction in price for the coupé across both models.
Pricing for the Polestar 4 coupé with Performance pack is available from $95,450. All prices are before on-roads.
The 2027 Polestar 4 coupé also now features a recalibrated chassis with high-capacity passive dampers, new spring and anti-roll bar settings, and polyurethane rebound stops replacing internal rebound coil springs.
And, along with what Polestar describes as “improved steering precision”, the Polestar 4 coupé now offers a more controlled ride in all driving conditions.
“The upgraded Polestar 4 coupé is better than ever, offering a more refined ride with enhanced driving pleasure, and stronger sustainability credentials,” said Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar.
“Overall, the Polestar 4 coupé delivers an even more compelling package without compromise.”
In line with Polestar’s promise to report the carbon intensity of every vehicle it makes from cradle to gate the Polestar 4 coupé will reach customers in Australia with a carbon footprint of 20.3 tonnes of CO2-equivalent (tCO₂e) for dual motor car and 19.4 tCO₂e for the rear motor variant.
This represents a reduction in its cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of 1.1 tCO₂e for Australia since launch.
The Polestar 4 coupé is also available with a range of additional options, including a $1,200 comfort pack featuring heated steering wheel, power-operated steering column, and 12-way electrical seats with mechanical cushion extension.
The $6,500 Plus pack adds a suite of luxury add-ons including Harman Kardon 1320W premium sound system, head-up display, Pixel LED headlights with Adaptive High Beam, hands-free operated tailgate, and some of the features from the Comfort pack.
And, for an additional $6,100 on top of the Plus pack, the Nappa upgrade adds Bridge of Weir animal welfare-secured leather with Charcoal deco, ventilated front seats with massage, Harman Kardon headrest speakers in front seats, rear comfort headrests, and brushed textile headlining.
The $7,200 Performance pack, available only on the Dual motor with Plus pack, adds 22-inch performance wheels, a “Polestar Engineered” chassis tuning, Brembo brakes, and Swedish gold accents.
Additional single options include a 22kW AC charging kit for $900, electrochromic glass roof for $2,200, a fully electric retractable towbar for $4,070, and privacy glass on rear side windows for $700.
