A new dedicated pre-owned electric vehicle (EV) dealership has launched in Victoria, offering a massive selection of used EVs.
The brainchild of Michael Beamish and Sam Wahab, who recently founded pre-owned dealership Car Depot in the Melbourne beachside suburb of Seaford, EV Depot is staffed by EV owners and provides information for new EV buyers to learn everything there is to learn about buying and owning an EV.
The company says range of EVs on offer covers the spectrum of what is available in Australia at the moment, including affordable first EVs and compact city cars through to family SUVs, luxury vehicles, and performance EVs.
Every EV accepted into stock at EV Depot undergoes a battery health test using a battery diagnostic tester from Aviloo. EV Depot also refuses any stock that has a battery health less than 90 per cent, and each car is independently assessed.
“Our team understands that purchasing an EV can be different from purchasing a traditional petrol or diesel vehicle, particularly for customers making the switch to electric for the first time,” EV Depot said in a statement this week.
“Our EV specialists are available to help customers understand everything from driving range to home charging options and setup, dedicated EV electricity plans, public charging, running costs and general EV ownership.
“Whether you’re buying your first EV, upgrading your current electric vehicle or simply exploring whether electric motoring is right for you, our goal is to make the process simple, transparent and easy to understand.”
EV Depot is located at 48 Bardia Avenue, Seaford, adjacent to Car Depot.
