MG has added further incentives to customers, building on the up to $5,000 cash back offer that it had already announced for its popular MG4 electric hatchback models .

The company has extended the cash back offers into March, calling it the ā€œMega Sellebrationā€ offer for the month, and is also offering a free home charger as part of the new deal.

The MG4 driveaway prices under this offer are:

  • MG4 51 kWh RWD Excite – $36,302 driveaway (down by $4,000)
  • MG4 64 kWh RWD Excite – $40,470 driveaway (down by $4,000)
  • MG4 64 kWh RWD Essence – $42,554 driveaway (down by $4,000)
  • MG4 77 kWh RWD Essence LR – $46,722 driveaway (down by $4,000)
  • MG4 64 kWh AWD X-power – $48,848 driveaway (down by $5,000)

On top of that, there is a bonus MG Chargehub, which is a 7kW home charger added to this EV if purchased before 31 March 2026.

MG’s S5 electric SUV also sees a bonus MG Chargehub on offer if purchased by this date.

The entry-level MR4 variant comes with a 51 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery pack, which delivers up to 350 km of WLTP range.Ā Ā

This is paired with a rear-mounted 125 kW motor, enabling the car to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds.

The Excite and Essence variants come with a 64 kWh battery pack and can deliver up to 450 km of range on a single charge. The Essence 77 features a 77 kWh battery pack that delivers up to 530 km of range on a single charge.

Vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality and Android Auto & Apple CarPlay are also added on as standard.

MG4 also comes with a long warranty program that includes a 10-year or 250,000 km warranty across its entire range.Ā

There is also a new, more rounded 2026 MG4 EV ā€œUrbanā€ with front-wheel drive (FWD) that’s heading to Europe and has previously been spotted testing in Australia, which would form the more affordable electric hatchback from the brand.

With competition only expected to heat up in the electric hatchback space with the upcoming GAC Aion UT and the Geely EX5, various offers are expected to keep sales levels high this year.

We look forward to seeing how this March offer helps the brand in getting more people behind the wheel of their EV range.Ā
