EV’s are an obvious solution for Australia’s precarious fuel security and its almost total dependence on costly and emissions intensive fuel imports.

Former RAAF deputy chief John Blackburn joins the Driven podcast to explain why. Blackburn has long advocated for Australia to take fuel security seriously, including proper fuel standards and to look at alternative technologies such as electric and hydrogen vehicles.

Blackburn owns an EV himself – has done for the last few years. And, as a former fighter jet pilot, he has a unique perspective on range anxiety.
