BMW has finally revealed the all-electric version of one of its most important SUVs: the new BMW iX5.
In this first walkaround, we take a close look at the fully electric iX5 60 xDrive, including its new exterior design, updated interior, BMW Panoramic iDrive display system, Passenger Screen, and the key electric specs that make this a major step for BMWās X range.
The iX5 is built on BMWās sixth-generation eDrive technology, with an 800-volt architecture, dual-motor all-wheel drive and a huge claimed WLTP driving range. It is also the first fully electric X5, and the first all-electric vehicle to be built at BMWās Spartanburg plant in the United States.
