Chinese electric carmaker Leapmotor has unveiled the new 2026 C10 Long-Range (LR) SUV which it says delivers improved performance, efficiency, and charging capability, while staying at the same price.
The C10 was first unveiled for Australia in late 2024, and has been sold in two variants – the entry-level Style and upgraded Design, which was priced from $49,888 before on-roads.
The new C10 Design LR features a new 81.9 kWh battery and an advanced 800V high‑voltage architecture, allowing for fast charging up to 180 kW that takes the battery from 30 to 80 per cent in approximately 22 minutes.
The upgraded battery delivers driving range of up to 510 km (WLTP, or 605 NEDC) while the upgraded motor delivers 220 kW of power and 360 Nm of torque, able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds.
Additional updates for the MY26 C10 Design LR BEV include 2 NFC keycards as standard, new Yokohama ADVAN Sport EV tyres, and a tyre inflation kit that includes a sealant cannister “for added roadside confidence”.
