Volvo has announced the Australian pricing for the new EX60, a luxury all-electric mid-size SUV with a range of up to 660 kilometres, which will be available from $86,990 – before on road costs – when it lands later this year.
The Volvo EX60 was unveiled earlier this year and will initially be available in two different powertrains – a rear-wheel powered P6 variant with a range of up to 610km, and a P10 all-wheel drive variant with a range of up to 660km (all ranges WLTP).
Both variants will come equipped with an 800V architecture built on the SPA3 platform and powered by Volvo’s HuginCore system. Battery sizes differ depending on the variant – 83kWh for the EX60 P6 and 95kWh for the EX60 P10 – with both featuring a ten-year battery warranty.
A third variant available overseas with a massive 117kWh battery and a range of over 810km is not yet planned to be introduced into Australia.
Pricing for the Volvo EX60 Ultra P6 RWD will start from $86,990 (MRRP), and from $101,990 (MRRP) for the Volvo EX60 Ultra P10 AWD.

Both variants will benefit from over-the-air updates and will be packed with technologies including Google’s new artificial intelligence (AI) assistance Gemini and a range of safety features, as befits a Volvo.
One of the safety features Volvo is touting is the new multi-adaptive safety belt, a world-first and award-winning safety innovation that the company says offers smarter and more personalised protection in the front row.

Also as standard on both variants is a premium 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system including headrest speakers in all four main seats. The EX60 will also be the first Volvo with Apple Music pre-installed with Dolby Atmos, delivering and immersive Spatial Audio experience.
An electrochromic panoramic roof, rear glass tinting, and integrated child booster cushions are also included as standard, while the EX60 Ultra P10 AWD adding additional features such as active suspension.
