The 7X SUV has been a popular model since its launch in August in Australia, largely due to its pricing.
Locally, three variants of the 7X are offered, with pricing (before on-road costs) starting at $57,900. The Long Range RWD variant increases the price to $63,900, while the top-spec Performance AWD starts at $72,900.
The entry-level RWD variant comes with Zeekrās 75 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, which allows for charging speeds of up to 450 kW, thanks to its 800 V architecture. This delivers a WLTP range of up to 480 km on a single charge.Ā

All variants of the 7X have an onboard 22 kW AC charging capability, making the 7X, in its RWD trim, one of the very few cars under $60,000 that includes it.
The next variant up is the Long Range RWD, which increases the range up to 615 km from its 100 kWh Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt (NMC) battery.
Up at the top of the lineup is the Performance AWD variant, which can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.Ā
It also uses the 100 kWh battery as the Long Range RWD and delivers a range of up to 543 km.
In addition to those charging specs, the 7X also offers vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability with a 3.3 kW output.
With the latest ANCAP results and thousands of orders to be delivered, the popularity of this model and the tech it offers will bring more first-time EV owners, with many ditching premium German brands while making the switch to cleaner cars.
