Mini Australia this week unveiled pricing for the new all-electric John Cooper Works and all-electric John Cooper Works Aceman, which will start from $63,990 and $ 65,990 respectively.
Set to be introduced in Australia in the first quarter of 2025, both the all-electric JCW and JCW Aceman were only unveiled at the 2024 Paris Motor Show earlier this year, highlighting the increasing rapidity with which electric vehicles are beginning to make their way to Australian shores.

Featuring numerous bespoke details inherent in John Cooper Works models, both vehicles boast a maximum output of 190kW and 350Nm from a single front electric motor.
Acceleration varies between the two cars, going from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds for the three-door JCW and 6.4 seconds for the JCW Aceman, while both can attain a maximum speed of 200km/h.
Similarly, both cars feature a 54.2kWh battery which delivers up to 371 kilometres (WLTP) of range for the JCW and up to 355 kilometres for the JCW Aceman (WLTP).

“We are thrilled to introduce these new additions to our line-up, bringing together the renowned road feel and engagement of John Cooper Works Mininmodels with the instantaneous power delivery and response of our fully electric offerings for maximum driving fun,” said Alexander Brockhoff, general manager for Mini Australia & New Zealand.
John Cooper Works – which dates back to the sporty version of the classic Mini developed by John Cooper more than six decades ago – delivers racing-inspired bonuses.
An innovative electric boost function, billed as a “go-kart mode”, can be activated by pressing the boost paddle on the sport steering wheel, which delivers an additional 20kW of electric power for help with overtaking manoeuvres and performance-boosting acceleration.
Meanwhile, John Cooper Works-specific suspension settings help to maximise the go-kart feeling and ensure agile handling.
