Tesla, the leading EV and energy products maker, has announced that it will now be selling Tesla-branded products at Bunnings Warehouse stores in Australia, including EV chargers and the Powerwall 3 household battery.
The offer is available at select stores to begin with, but in future could expand further given Bunnings Warehouseās footprint of over 280 stores nationwide.
On the companyās local Australia & New Zealand X page, also owned by CEO Elon Musk, Tesla shared an update saying: āPowerwall 3, Wall Connector & Mobile Connector now available at select Bunnings Warehouse storesā.
Two of the three products are for EV charging, making it easier for EV drivers to purchase a charger straight from Australiaās leading hardware store.

This is not the first time Tesla has sold EV charging equipment out of retail stores. In the US, Tesla has a similar offering at stores like Best Buy.
Since deliveries began in 2014, Tesla has sold over 120,000 EVs in the Australian market. For many years, Tesla delivered vehicles with charging equipment in the form of a wall connector, universal mobile charger, or, in some cases, both.
In recent years, the charging equipment is purchased by the customer and by offering it via Teslaās website, app and now Bunnings, more choices are available to new and existing customers.
