Ford Australia says online reservations for theĀ Mustang Mach-Eās electric car will open later this week, with the pricing also to be revealed at the time.
Reservations for the Mustang Mach-E will open on Wednesday afternoon with three variants on offer –Ā Select,Ā Premium and GT. Reservations will require a $1,000 deposit.Ā According to Ford, the first Australian allocations of the Mustang will begin production imminently.Ā
The next variant above the Select will the Premium variant. It comes equipped with a larger 91 kWh battery pack that will also power the single-motor drivetrain, delivering up to 216 kW of power and 430 Nm peek torque.Ā

For those looking at travelling further, the Premium variant has a claimed range of up to 600 km which is on the higher side compared to many other EVs on the market.
The top-of-the-range Mach-E GT will also use the same larger 91 kWh battery pack offering 358 kW and a whopping 860 Nm of torque from its all-wheel-drive powertrain.Ā
This drivetrain setup with the larger battery will deliver 490 km of range while getting the car to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. Ford claims this to be around 3.7 seconds with a 1-foot rollout.

The interior is also quite new for Fordās Australian models. It includes a 15.5-inch infotainment screen along with a 10.2-inch digital cluster screen. Wireless charging and a 10-speaker sound-system will also be available.Ā
At the March announcement, Ford also stated that itās aiming to deliver every Australian delivered Mach-E with a panoramic sunroof as standard.Ā
Ford Mustang Mach-E is expected to arrive at Fordās Australian dealers later this year.Ā
