Accidents do happen. But when you design a car to attract attention, such as the Tesla Model X, then attention is what you will get when things go drastically wrong.
This video needs no further explanation, apart from noting it is not the first time it has happened with a Tesla Model X. And yes, drivers of petrol and diesel cars also sometimes forget to close their doors, with probably less spectacular consequences.
