Three lucky customers awaiting the arrival of their near $200,000 Porsche Taycan electric cars this weekend (or $350,000 if they ordered the top version) got an early taste of their new electric toys this week when Australia’s former F1 driver Mark Webber turned up to take them for a spin around a nearby race-track.
It’s a little bit hard to believe that the three customers were taken completely by surprise, given the presence of cameras and neat and tidy clothes (maybe that’s how Porsche drivers dress all the time), but the video is worth showing as it gives insight into what is Australia’s most expensive EV … and because The Driven missed out on last week’s media test thanks to Covid.
The first deliveries of the Porsche Taycan EVs are due this weekend. Stand by for a lot of tweeting, Facebooking and Instagramming.
